Samantha is an avid yoga practitioner and instructor in Scottsdale, Arizona. For over ten years, she has taught for leading yoga studios and gyms including Pure Fitness, At One Yoga, Grayhawk Yoga, and currently, the DC Ranch Village Health Club and Spa. Samantha holds a BA in English from Fordham University, an MFA in Creative Writing from American University and is the author of Yoga Poetry: Pose Poems to Enhance Your Practice.


A lifelong athlete, Patricia has provided yoga instruction to thousands of individuals over the past 15 years, including professional athletes. She believes that the mental and physical focus, strength, and flexibility elements that come from practicing yoga can benefit anyone willing to embrace the practice. Currently the Director of Group Fitness & Yoga for an exclusive health club, Patricia holds an MBA and has over 20 years of experience as a marketing executive. Patricia stays active in hiking, golfing, cycling, skiing, snowboarding, and motorcycling.

DR. JIM AFREMOW, Sports Psychology Consultant

A leading sports psychology consultant, licensed professional counselor, and the author of "The Champion’s Mind: How Great Athletes Think, Train and Thrive" (Rodale, 2014), Dr. Afremow provides individual and team mental training services across the globe to athletes, teams, and coaches in all sports, including MLB, NBA, WNBA, PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, NHL, and NFL. In addition, he has mentally trained several U.S. and international Olympic competitors, and served as the staff mental coach for two international Olympic teams.

CHRISTINE LULEK, YFB / Pilates Instructor

Christine is an accomplished Trainer and Pilates Instructor/Educator with a dedicated focus on sports-specific requirements. Her many certifications include PSC Master Trainer, PMA Certified Pilates Teacher, ACE Certified Personal Trainer and TRX Certified Instructor. Born and raised in Quebec, Canada, and a dancer since age 4, Christine moved to the United States in 1987 to pursue a career as a professional ballerina and toured the United States performing for over a decade. Her passion for movement propelled her to study Pilates where she expanded her scope to include personal training & fitness dynamics.


An avid runner and lifelong athlete, Jessica began incorporating yoga into her daily routine over 15 years ago. She is a 500 hour RYT and holds a Level 2 certification in Katherine Roberts’ YFB/YFG methodologies. Jessica is inspired by the innate drive, dedication and passion of athletes at all levels to perform to their maximum ability. In addition to co-leading 200 hour RYT teacher trainings throughout the Scottsdale area, Jessica also teaches yoga with an emphasis on yoga fitness therapy and injury rehabilitation.
